Stranger things have happened in the Bill Hicks design studio but if there is one thing Bill is great at its delivering unique, quirky, bespoke one-off designs.
Just recently Bill had the pleasure of assisting client John Cutler in creating a bangle for his daughters 18th Birthday. John Cutler is the owner of J.H Cutler Sydney bespoke tailor and shirt maker, so when John approached us we knew it was going to be no ordinary request!
Bill didn’t hesitate with this out of the ordinary idea and got to work by putting pencil to paper. Several weeks later a 9ct Rose Gold bangle was born.
The bangle featured John’s daughter’s DOB cut out in roman numerals, her initials on the front and the best part.…her baby teeth mounted into the bangle (That is correct, her baby teeth John had kept for 18 years!). The moral of the story is, there is no design too strange, unique or ‘out of the ordinary’ for the team at Bill Hicks Jewellery Design!
