Bill Hicks’ Jewellery Designing Process
Consult Our Jewellery Designers
To begin, schedule an appointment in our private Sydney jewellery boutique with one of our Jewellery designers. You can share your ring inspiration and try on some ready made rings from our collection to get a feel for what you like. We can also happily arrange an online consultation to design your ring, if you are not able to visit our Sydney boutique in person.
Find the perfect diamond or gemstone for your ring
We will guide you through our collection of gemstones and diamonds and explain the unique characteristics of each stone. Based on your preferences and budget, we will source as many options as we can to show you. As experienced gemmologists and designers, we will make recommendations on stones and metals suitable to create your custom dream ring.
Your personalised design
We will listen to your own ideas for your custom made ring and make some suggestions to bring your design to life. Our designers will then sketch some ring designs before we proceed to a CAD design (a 3D rendered computer design). This will allow you to explore the ring from various angles and have a good understanding of what the finished product will look like. At this stage, you can ask for as many modifications as you want, until we’ve got the design absolutely perfect.
Crafting Starts
After finalising the design, our master jeweller and expert craftsmen will begin handmaking and hand setting your bespoke ring. Our rings are crafted to the highest quality standards using a controlled and refined process. You can expect the ring within 2-4 weeks, depending on the intricacy of the ring design.
Ring Is Ready
We will call you once your custom dream ring is ready. You can visit our Sydney bespoke jewellery boutique to inspect and collect the ring.
