From the very earliest days of his career Bill's design skills have been recognised by his peers in the jewellery industry. He has won innumerable awards in the De Beers Diamond Facets Design Competition and has been asked to serve as a judge at these same awards on a number of occasions.

He has received international recognition, being selected as a Finalist in the De Beers Diamond International Design Awards, and his pieces have been exhibited at a number of the world's most prestigious jewellery fairs.

He has also won prizes in the Gemmological Association of Australia Design Awards.
